2020 Zinggia Ohio Art Scholarship Winner
We’re super excited to announce the seventh annual 2020 Zinggia Ohio Art Scholarship Winner Gabrielle Deacon.
We had some great scholarship submissions this year, so it’s sometimes hard to only select one winner. Gabrielle’s artsy envelope first caught our eye. It was one of the most impressive envelopes we received, so we were super excited to open it. When we first looked at Gabrielle’s art samples, we thought surely this can’t be the work of a high school student! Her paintings are amazing and have that special touch of weirdness that we really love. The skill and craftsmanship of each piece, along with the creativity, are simply amazing. Gabrielle plans to attend Ohio Wesleyan University, majoring in Studio Art with a Concentration in Drawing and Painting. Then she hopes to attend a graduate school to major in Illustration. Her goal is to become a professional illustrator and art professor. Gabrielle’s dream job is to work alongside Wes Anderson doing stop motion animation or concept art. We know Gabrielle will succeed with a professional career in art because, ya know, this girl obviously ROCKS already!
